Weekend Video: The Landfill Harmonic Orchestra

Life Out of the Box Moolahoop exclusive wrap bracelet available at Moolahoop.com/lifeoutofthebox

This wonderful video demonstrates the beauty that one can find in poverty. We have found that beauty is everywhere even in the worst situations and this group of people proves that by taking trash from a slum built on a landfill in Paraguay and making it into instruments. These instruments are then given to the children of the town so that they can have the opportunity to learn how to play them–an opportunity that would have otherwise not existed for them due to the high cost of real instruments. The recycled instruments sound beautiful and an actual orchestra has come together from it all called the Landfill Harmonic Orchestra. Let this amazing story inspire you, give you chills and help you find the beauty in everything this weekend.
